Licence
Open source under the GNU AGPL, version 3: anyone can read, build, verify and change the code, and share changes under the same licence.
In short, you may use Ascham for any purpose, study how it works, change it, and share it, changed or not.
If you share a copy, or let people use a changed version over a network, you must offer them its source code under the same licence.
The licence lets anyone change any part of the code, including the part that checks a Pro key. Buying Pro pays for the work.
Ascham comes with no warranty, as the licence sets out.
This summary is not the licence: the full terms are in LICENSE.
The source code: ascham.app/source/
Third-party notices, including for the word list Ascham draws on, are in NOTICE.
The licence covers the code, not the name. You may say truthfully that your software is based on Ascham, but a changed version must not be called Ascham or presented as ours. The details are in TRADEMARKS.md.
